Ex Officio ExSential Tank Dress : Don't Leave Home Without One

Every woman needs a little black dress or two or three. Then, another one for travel.

When I'm on the road, my criteria changes from my "dress up" black dresses. I want comfort, more modesty, and something easy to care for. Ex Officio's ExSential Tank Dress fits the bill perfectly. And it has some eco creds that make it even more appealing.

This loose-fitting sleeveless dress is made out of organic cotton, soy, and enough nylon and spandex to give it quick-dry properties and stretch. More important, I like that it's half cotton - nothing beats the feel of cotton.

I love this dress because I can throw it in a bag, leave it in a crumpled mess on my floor for weeks, or shove it in the back of my dresser --- and it does a good job of resisting wrinkles. I never thought I'd say this -- but I appreciate the darts now that I have a bust -- they help give me a better fit than a plain t-shirt style dress.

Bottom Line : A little eco, black enough to dress up if needed, and able to withstand plenty of neglect and abuse. That's my idea of the kind of travel garment I want in my suitcase. --E.D. (June 08)
