Isis Destination Dress : Does it All
The waters of Green Bay blazed a deep, deep blue as I strolled through Ephraim, a super cute lakeside town in Door County, Wisconsin. I'd taken three flights and a van ride to get here, but my Destination Dress looked right off the rack, and I reveled in its freshly-minted polish as I browsed Ephraim's boutiques. Not that Door County is a formal destination: This is a casual-comfort kind of getaway, so my clean, simple Destination Dress saw plenty of wear. I sported it as I trod the gentle paths at Peninsula State Park, and it kept me cool and comfortable as I enjoyed vistas of the blooming cherry trees Door County is famous for. But when it was time to shift into a slightly dressier gear, for boutique shopping or a spiffy dinner, my Destination Dress effortlessly took on a look that was slightly more svelte. Its cap sleeves flatter my arms and make the Destination Dress appropriate for a range of temperatures. I threw on a little cropped cardigan for chilly nights, and wore it with flip-flops when the sun got hot. A hidden pocket at the hem, big enough for a room key and a couple of folded bills, let me leave my shoulder bag at home for short outings. And the silky yet durable fabric felt great to the touch but stayed snag-free through plenty of miles. Available in black, brown, green. Bottom Line: A flattering, wrinkle-resistant travel essential that looks good everywhere you go. -- K.B.
