There's no reason to sacrifice style just because of the weather. Still, a woman likes to be sure footed when she's out and about.
Tsubo's Kiho boots are the perfect antidote to the winter blahs and the perfect footwear with winter skirts and dresses. These sassy full-leather boots have a full zip which makes them easy on, easy off, plus a stable rubber sole that keeps me walkin' tall on slippery sidewalks.
I normally never get to wear boots like this because most cold-weather boots that are considered fashionable have heels, and I don't wear heels. I also normally would never select white leather boots, but that's what Tsubo sent me to test. What a riot!
Nancy Sinatra, eat your heart out. I'm steppin' here and there, everywhere, walkin' all over down in my super sexy white winter boots. They're so dramatic with my black trench; I'm sure people on the street assume I'm from New York or some glamorous place. (Everyone else in Seattle wears hiking boots, tennis shoes, or "comfort" shoes.)
The best thing about these boots -- they're stable enough, wide enough, and comfortable enough that I can cover a lot of ground in them. It helps that I can remove the spongy footbed and replace it with my custom orthotic.
