Timbuk2 is another company that makes well-designed products that are simple to use, look great, and get the job done.
I have a fancy cell phone (see Nokia 5100 review), so I wanted a durable, easy-access case. I can wear my Timbuk2 Cell Phone Case on my belt, attached to a messenger bag or purse strap, or latched onto the outside of my day pack.
The velcro enclosure keeps the phone securely in place, so I can also toss my phone into my day pack or pocket without worrying that it will come out of its case.
I also have a matching Timbuk2 padded computer sleeve, an excellent product that gives me piece of mind when I have to store or transport my laptop.
Bottom Line: I used to think it was a bit excessive to buy accessories for appliances and gadgets, but now that I have both, I've a complete convert. If you're going to spend the money on a cell phone or laptop, it's worth it to protect them.--E.D. (Mar '04)
