Thule Transport Trunk Organizer : Gear On The Go

I'm a slob, and I'm lousy at packing. That's why I love Thule's Transport trunk organizer. It holds a lot of gear, it's easy to assemble, and its slip-proof bottom keeps it from sliding around in my trunk.
The Thule Transport is made out of tough, black nylon and has easy-to-grab handles on each end. The the organizer looks like a large basket and has a steel wire frames around the bottom and opening of the bag, with fold-out legs that stay firmly in place once extended. When not in use, the legs fold down so that the basket can be packed flat. That's handy.
The Transport comes in three sizes; I tested the medium-sized basket, which holds 41L (2503 cubic inches). It weights just under two pounds, and is plenty sturdy for carting around gear. On a recent camping trip, the Transport was the ideal place to stash my extra hiking boots, extra socks, a medical kit, a change of clothes, hat and gloves, a rain jacket, a bottle of water, food, my emergency radio, and more. After a long hike in the rain, I was happy to be able to open my trunk and grab everything I needed to be warm and dry before I got in my tent.
The Thule Transport bag is 11.8" h x 17.9" l x 13" w, which is an ideal size because it's large enough to hold a lot and I can still carry it when it's full. Because it's sides are somewhat pliable, I can easily toss in a bike helmet or other odd-shaped items.
This nifty bag has come in handy on several car trips. It allows me to keep my gear in one handy place without actually organizing anything. I just dump everything I need into the Transport and go. It's so much better than the paper shopping bags and cardboard boxes I used to use!
