Teva Forge Pro eVent Shoe : Waterproof All-Terrain Traction

I normally don't leave for vacation with brand new shoes, but I risked it with a pair of Teva Forge Pro eVent shoes on a recent trip to Europe...and never looked back.

I wore the Forge Pro eVent hiking/cross-training shoes every day for three weeks, and never felt a moment of foot discomfort or fatigue. I hiked the tough trails of the Eiger Mountain, Mt. Rigi, and the famous Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps. I explored many old country trails through the countryside of southern France, and then strolled for hours and hours though the streets of Paris. Whether trail hiking or walking around town or jumping on and off many trains, boats, and buses during those three weeks, my feet remained comfortable and happy.

The Teva Forge Pro eVent shoes have some special qualities that seem to have kept my feet in fine form. The shoe and the arch support construction is solid, and the sole design offers good traction on many surfaces. I tend to be kind of clumsy and sometimes trip without warning, but throughout the entire trip of constant walking and hiking, I never so much as stumbled.

This lightweight shoe (12 oz.) also provides great protection against the weather. The Forge Pro utilizes eVent, a waterproof membrane, in the fabric. So, even when it rained my feet stayed completely dry. At the same time, even on the few really hot days we experienced, my feet stayed cool because these Teva hiking shoes also have a system of teeny little pores that allow the shoe to breathe.

I can't recall many times in my life when I've slipped into a pair of shoes and felt like they were made to fit my foot so perfectly. I tested the women's model, but the Teva Forge Pro eVent shoe is also available in men's sizes.
