Mountain Hardwear Pacer Skort : All-Around Comfort

As an active woman, I love finding sporty clothes that serve several purposes and can be worn for many different activities. Mountain Hardware has satisfied those requirements in a very cute and practical skort!
The Pacer has built-in compression shorts that aren't too tight but definitely do the job. They're a bit shorter in lenth than the skirt, so nobody can see them, but it sure is nice to know they're there when I'm bending over on the tennis court to pick up a ball or scrambling up the climbing wall at my local park.
I love the lightweight, stretchy material. It dries quickly and it's also rated UPF 30 for sun protection. There is a small slit on the left side, which shows a little more leg, but not too much. At 37, I wanted a skort that I could wear without looking like I was trying to be 21 again. This skort falls mid-thigh, which is a perfect length for all of the activities I wear it for, whether it's grocery shopping, taking a walk, or washing my car.
The skort has a flat waistband (much more flattering than a typical elastic type waistband) with a tie string. There's a small hidden pocket on the right side, big enough for a key and some money or a credit card. In fact, the pocket is the size of a credit card.
I wear the skort with my Keen sandals, but you could definitely get away wearing it with tennis shoes and ankle socks if you were going for a walk or jog. I've worn it with both short-sleeved shirts and with sleeveless shirts, and it looks good either way. This is definitely one of those clothing items I'll be living in this summer as the temperature rises and shorts start to feel too constricting!
