Le Mystere Sports Bra : Support and Shape

I was sure I wouldn't like my Le Mystere Energie sports bra--it was too pretty--but I did. And I do.

What can I say? It looks good on me. It's supportive enough for the activities I do most often: power walking, hiking, and yoga. It's also designed for daily wear.

That's a pretty good list of benefits for someone who has a difficult time finding bras that fit (I'm a 34G). I like that Le Mystere's Energie sports bra has three hooks--you need at least that many with a big cup size. I also like the gently padded adjustable straps--I can wear the bra with a variety of tops, including t-back tanks.

The cups fit well and the underwires feel supportive for most activities, although I wouldn't go running in this bra (I wouldn't go running in most sports bras--I need major compression.) The Energie bra is fairly low cut, which is unusual for a sports bra. I actually like the style because I often wear this bra as an everyday bra. So, it works well with my clothes and I don't have to change bras just for a post-work power walk.

The Energie Bra doesn't mash me down, either, and thanks to the molded, padded cups, when my body registers cold temperatures nobody can see!

Looks can be deceiving! I didn't expect much from Le Mystere's sports bra but I've been very happy with it.

Bottom LIne: This bra definitely has a place in my wardrobe--I get the support I need for low- to -moderate-intensity exercise, with the added bonus of minimizing shaping.--E.D.(Dec '10)
