Keen Voyageur : Happy Hiking

Men and women looking for a lightweight, breathable hiking shoe for summer will be happy with Keen's Vaoyageur shoe (also available in a mid-height boot.)
I've been wearing my Keen Voyageur shoes almost every day for my hour-long power walk for the past few months. I love the Keen fit; it's like wearing a cross between an athletic shoe and a hiking shoe. I get the light weight I like, plus a thick, stable, shanked sole. The best of both worlds. The Voyageur shoes have serious treads and excellent arch support, so now that it's drying up I'm ready to shift from power walks to power hikes.
Unlike most other Keens I've worn in the past, the Voyageur shoes did require a short break-in time. For some reason, the areas under the leather lace loops dug into the tops of my feet when I first started wearing them. Loosening the laces fixed the problem, and once I had broken in the shoes, the leather softened up and now the entire upper conforms comfortably to my foot, even when I tie the laces tight.
