Keen Chelsea Shoe : Sassy, Sporty, Urban

Keen has done it again.   They've taken a classic shoe style - the Mary Jane - and applied the special Keen magic, making a shoe that is super cute, super comfortable, and super functional - the Chelsea for women.

The Keen magic is their lightweight design which manages to provide a totally supportive sole without bulk or weight. These shoes float on my feet.  Most important, at the end of the day, my feet don't ache. I also love Keen's signature toe bumper; it protects me from my klutzy self and keeps my shoes looking good.

Another bonus: the leather and moisture-wicking synthetic lining keeps my feet dry and comfy on the inside too.   I really can just keep walking. (By the way, the black rubber outersole has the added bonus of being scuffmark-free, more Keen magic!)

OK, they feel great, but how do they look?   Cute, cute, cute.   Sporty and fashionable, the Chelsea has a combination leather and mesh upper available in 4 groovy colors:   powder (light blue), lavender, black, and garnet red.   Gotta love the basic black and the more adventurous colors; I have the adorable powder blue but am tempted by the others.   Fun with jeans, shorts, or a kicky skirt, the Chelsea is versatile for a sporty urban shoe.   So they don't really go with a suit or an evening gown, but the Chelsea goes with just about everything I actually wear.

Perfect for an endless game of duck-duck-goose at the park with my son, carefree for a full day running around the office, and fab for travel & sightseeing, like my other Keen shoes, the Chelsea are comfortable right out of the box.   I mean right out of the box, all day long.
