InSport DriTec Shimmel : Summer Runnin'
Some of my peers claim that halter tops with built-in bras are absolutely worthless for running, but I disagree. For my body type (tall and small-chested), halter tops offer plenty of support and are quite practical. On cool days, when worn underneath a t-shirt, my InSport Shimmel offers more warmth than a sports bra alone; on warmer days, it can be worn alone, eliminating the multiple layering system of a sports bra and t-shirt. Plus, I feel a little bit more comfortable walking into my local coffee shop for a post-run smoothie in a halter top than in a belly-revealing sports bra. My InSport DriTec Shimmel offers the support I need in a style I like. Its inner shelf bra is snug without cutting off my circulation (it's important to buy the right size), and the V-neck opening and form-fitting cut earn this tank big style points. Made of moisture-wicking Meryl® stretch nylon fabric, the DriTec Shimmel does a good job of wicking away sweat on warmer days and providing a layer of insulation on cold days. As days warm up in the Pacific Northwest, I've been wearing this top on power walks and runs in my neighborhood and local parks. Bottom LIne: This versatile top is perfect for women who don't need a lot of support, but like some extra coverage. Available in six colors and sizes XS-XL.--B.B.
