Freya Active Sports Bra : Light Weight, Big Support

I'm done with U.S. sports bra companies. They just don't get it. There are women out there, like me, who have a small band size and large cup size. So, what are we left to do in a country that only sells bras up to DD in 03 and 32 band sizes? We go online and buy British- and European-brand sports bras!

I'm loving my new Freya Active Sports Bra. Amazingly, it's wire-free, and it's super supportive. I'm a 32FF (which is the same cup size as a 36DD), and I'm impressed with the comfort and support levels I've experienced during a variety of activities. I've worn this bra for yoga, for power walking, and as an every day bra. It's been so long since I've worn a soft-cup bra, and I love it.

It's easy to wash and easy to pack because I don't have to worry about wires. The straps are a bit wider than an inch; once they run down my back they taper a bit to a thinner, adjustable strap. Here's how much Freya gets it: the bra has four hooks and four adjustment sizes. I love a wide band - makes all the difference in anchoring the bra.

The poly/spandex blend does a good job of wicking, too. I like to wear my gear as much as possible between washes, and this bra doesn't disappoint. I can wear it for days during my workouts, and it doesn't smell. The cups are generously sized and the bra provides great coverage on the sides, too (all important for us busty gals).

Sizes: 28-40-, C cup to an H cup, available in white, black, beige, red.

Bottom LIne: An excellent bra for medium and high impact activities. I wear Freya's underwire model for running, but many will find this bra plenty supportive for running. -- E.D. (Aug 09)
