Filofax Finsbury Travel Wallet : Get Organized
I'm usually in a rush when packing for a trip, but I'm trying to change my ways. First step: getting my money, ticket, and passport all in one place rather than stuffed into various pockets of my carry-on luggage. So, now I use the Finsbury Travel Wallet by Filofax. I've been a big fan of their stylish leather day planners ever since I received one as a gift about 16 years ago (I'm on my second one, but the first one still has plenty of years left in it). My new wallet is made out of the same soft, textured leather, features a simple, elegant design, and offers plenty of ways to organize my travel docs. Inside the snap-enclosed wallet, there's a pouch on one side for my passport. There's also a small sleeve stitched to the lower half of the pouch--an ideal place for my boarding pass. On the other side, there's a zippered pouch for coins covered by a slim sleeve, which, in turn, is covered with several credit card sleeves and a mesh sleeve for my driver's licence. Underneath all this, the top of the wallet opens up like a regular wallet. Because it's much deeper than a pocket-sized wallet, I can keep my bills on one side and my travelers checks on the other. On the outside of the wallet, there's one more sleeve--that's where I put my plane ticket. A nice detail -- there are two snaps on the enclosure so that once you fill up your wallet, you can still close it securely. I love this attractive, sophisticated wallet. Now I just need a fancy leather bag to match. Available in black, red, and pink. Bottom Line: Get some class and get organized for your text trip with a little help from Filofax. --E.D.
