Most of the major sports bra companies have let me down with their limited range of bra sizes. They just don't support women with small bra sizes and large cup sizes.
Still, who knew a fancy clothing designer would be the one to create one of my favorite sports bras?
The Donna Karan Intimates Signature Underwire Sports Bra has been a goddesssend. The soft microfiber material feels like cotton against my skin, has enough latex to provide stretch, shape, and support, and with comfort in mind, DK has strategically placed the underwires on top of the bra! I also appreciate the wide, adjustable shoulder straps and the three-hook wide enclosure. All excellent features.
I love this bra because it holds my breasts in place, minimizes without mashing, and comes in a variety of hard-to-find sizes. I'm usually a 32DDD, which very few companies make (however, several British and European bra companies make lingerie and sports bras in large cup sizes for women with small and large rib cage measurements), so it's nice to be able to find this bra at my local Nordstrom and at popular online retailers such as figleaves and bare necessities.
I wear this bra for everything except running (and that's only because I prefer a complete mash-down bra for running). The The Donna Karan Intimates Signature Underwire Sports Bra is ideal for low- to moderate-level intensity activities. Because it minimizes (without any of me spilling out over the sides), I often wear it as my daily bra -- it's great over t-shirts. It's so smooth it doesn't show lines even under snug shirts.
Available in black, white, beige, sizes 32C-38DDD.
Note: This bra runs a bit small in the rib cage band -- I'm usually a 32DDD, but wear a 34DDD in this bra.
