Bite Women's Tempo OS Sandal : Walk for Miles, and Miles, and Miles

Years of running, hiking, and long distance bicycling have taken their toll on feet and legs. So now I must wear my slip-in custom made orthotics in everything --from my neoprene kayaking booties to dress shoes to sandals.

Not a problem with my Tempo Bite OS Sandals; they have a thick, cushioned removable footbed, so my orthotics fit right into the shallow "bed." For extra cushioning, the sandals come with an additional cushioned insole that can be placed over the orthotics.

Although my Tempo OS sandals are definitely sport sandals, the leather uppers makes them feel and look more substantial and even ....sort of dressy. I wear them to work and out on the town with nicer pants and skirts. I've received numerous unsolicited compliments while wearing these sandals. Of course they uppers are waterproof; they just don't look like it.

I also appreciate Bite's front raised Toe Guard™, a raised "lip" around the front end of the sandals that protects me from stubbing my toe. The best thing about my new sandals is that I can walk long distances in them without getting tired feet from lack of support.

Bottom Line: The Tempo OS sandal is a comfortable and well-designed sport sandal for all-around land use. Don't be surprised if you find yourself slinging them on just about every time you leave the house this summer.--J. I. (July '06)
