Acorn Anorak Mules : Slippers with Sole

I got the Acorn Anorak Mules with the idea of coming home at the end of the day and slipping into something warm and comfortable.
I soon discovered these clogs are hard to define. They are both comfortable and rugged, so I'm not sure if they're outdoor shoes offering slipper-like comfort or indoor shoes offering traction and durability.
When I first put them on, they were a little stiff. But after a little break-in time the sheepskin lining and moisture resistant canvas and suede upper started molding to my feet and the sole became more flexible. I soon found myself wearing them all day, both indoors and outdoors.
The sheepskin lining is designed to carry away moisture and trap the natural heat from your feet, so socks aren't necessary. Even on a chilly fall day, my mules kept my feet warm and dry while walking through wet grass. If I could wear them to work, I would.
Bottom LIne: The Acorn Anorak Mule is comfort footwear you'll find hard to take off. They are perfect for those casual days around the house where you end up puttering around outdoors or after that long hike where you want to doff the heavy boots and pamper your feet.-E.C. (Nov. 07)
